Shakeology 3 Day Cleanse

Change and growth is INEVITABLE.  My blog has officially left it's former body and moved here:

Please come over to its newest incarnation.

Recently, many people have been seeing excellent results with the Shakeology Cleanse. In this short article we’ll discuss the popular “Shakeology fast” in detail and explain exactly how you can do it as well.

Shakeology is a complete meal replacement shake that was designed to be used once a day. For the Beachbody Shakeology cleanse however, it will be taken 3 times a day for 3 days.  The goal with Shakeology cleansing is to flush all of the junk from your system and regulate hydration levels. While this cleanse definitely restricts you when it comes to calories, you’ll be getting all the right nutrients in those calories. A person eating an average American diet would have to eat twice as many calories to consume the nutrients you’ll receive while on the Shakeology detox program. It’s the perfect program for anyone who wants a 3 day jump start to looking and feeling better.

SHAKEOLOGY CLEANSE ESSENTIALS

Mind Body Spirit - What Does it Mean?

Change and growth is INEVITABLE.  My blog has officially left it's former body and moved here:

Please come over to its newest incarnation.

We've all heard these three words thrown around in some way or another, and frankly the explanations that I've read had me even more confused about how all three tied together.  It was only until I was about halfway into my weight loss journey that I truly began to understand what it meant- at least to me. Sometimes we realize the true meaning of things only through real-life experience, and not by reading someone else’s explanation of it.  Does that mean that I’m writing this in vain?  Who knows?  Regardless, I will attempt to explain what it means to me in the most concrete way.

It was through studying the Law of Attraction that I came to understand how everything tied together.  It is commonly known that we become what we think about most– so if I wanted to quit smoking, lose weight and get in shape, I knew that I had to visualize myself as already having achieved these goals.  So, my first step was to write my goals down on a sheet of paper and accompany them with some pictures that symbolized my goals.  This is where the true magic happened.

When we write our goals down, and begin to review them every day, we begin to unfold the Mind, Body, Spirit mystery.

  • Mind: We have all heard the saying, "You can achieve anything if you set your mind to it."  Our minds have extraordinary abilities.  We can tap into these abilities by taking time everyday to focus on our specific goals that we would like to achieve.  Our mind needs direction in order for it to work for us.  If we do not provide this direction, it will merely absorb the directions given to it by the countless advertisements and external stimuli that we see every day- through television, the internet and print media.  Our mind is a garden, and we should only plant the seeds that we want to harvest– the goals that we want to achieve.  We fertilize the soil by feeding it the thoughts that will nurture and cultivate our garden.

  • Body: Our bodies are an outward manifestation of what we eat, think, and do.  We all obviously know that aside from genetics, we can largely control what our bodies look like by exercising discrimination in what we consume.  For so long, I just ate whatever– not truly thinking about what it was doing to my body.  I attribute this to not having any health goals, and being bombarded with fast food commercials.  I was completely unaware that other people were planting seeds in my mind!  That’s a recipe for DISASTER.  The other variable that we can control is the amount of time and energy we dedicate to movement.  It’s so important to be active– we all know the benefits of exercise, so I won’t list them here.  We don’t have to strive to become professional athletes, but we should make it a point to break a sweat for at least 30 minutes a day.

  • Spirit: This is your own personal way of believing with EVERY CELL IN YOUR BODY that your goals will come to fruition.  It’s so important to let go of any doubts that you’ll be able to reach your goals.  Once I began to really think, “Hey, I CAN do this” my motivation skyrocketed.  This opened the door to experiencing more love for myself and others.  I also began to feel more compassion for people that were stuck like I was.  Lastly, I became a much happier person for reaching out and helping people, and sharing how I was able to change my life.
Without these three puzzle pieces, our success will be limited.  Here is why:

Have you heard about people winning the lottery and losing all of their money in roughly 2-5 years?  What about someone losing weight only to gain it back after a few months?  What about someone that quit smoking, only to start back up again?  I'm going to use an analogy here that may be helpful.  Our minds are like thermostats.  If it is set to 70 degrees, any temperature deviation from this is going to eventually find its way back to 70 degrees.  If the temperature drops to 50 degrees, the thermostat will kick in and bring it back up to 70.  What is the solution to permanently change the temperature?  We need to change the "Set Point" on the thermostat.  We can change our own "Set Point" by using our Mind Body Spirit approach.  Once we have a new "Set Point," ANY deviation from that point WILL NOT MATTER, because we know what we have to do to get back to that healthy "Set Point."  For many years, my set point was on fat and lazy- so in the past, whenever I lost weight, I just put it back on!  Once I realized HOW to change and actively maintain the setting, I was able to SIGNIFICANTLY change my life in several areas.

What are your goals?  What do you want to achieve?  I sincerely hope that you can reach them.
